Inspectional Services

Health Inspectors generally conduct inspections for food establishments, housing, septic systems, recreational camps, and more.

Our Regional Inspectors are currently offering food and housing inspections with other types of inspections soon to come!

HPHSSC Regional Inspectors work in conjunction with local Boards of Health to offer support with standard inspections, inspections upon complaint, understanding code regulations, and ensuring compliance with code.

Our priority is to provide support to our partners with inspectional support while ensuring that they maintain their autonomy. All decisions related to the outcome of these inspections remain at the discretion of the local boards of health which we serve.

Inspectors also offer education on a variety of topics including health regulations and car seat safety.
